Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum wins awards from Ohio Museums Association

The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum has won three awards from the Ohio Museums Association as part of that organization's 2005 Visual Communications Awards.

"Motocross America," the book that captures the images and stories of the Motocross America exhibit currently on display in the Museum, won a Gold Award from the OMA. The book, written and edited by Bill Amick, combines the best of the Motocross America exhibit with even more research, historic photos and studio photography.

In the poster category, the Museum received a Gold Award for its annual poster promoting the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

The Museum's annual report also received a Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest of three levels of awards the OMA bestows.

The annual report and poster were both created by Crabtree & Strussion Design of Pickerington, Ohio.

“We employ good designers and editors to make sure we present the qualities of the Museum through our printed materials," said Museum Executive Director Mark Mederski. "They add great reach for us and I’m happy the OMA recognizes the quality we strive for.”
