Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum announces top Heritage
Clubs for 2003
May 26 – The Museum is proud to
honor the St. Louis Motorcycle Club and the Buckeye Beemers for their
outstanding commitment to preserving our motorcycling history as part of
the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum Heritage Clubs program.
The St. Louis Motorcycle Club will receive the coveted Top Donor Club
Award for its 2003 annual contribution. The award honors the club that
makes the largest donation to the museum. For 2004, the 51-year-old
group will continue its tradition of support with a motorcycle show,
barbeque and bike wash on June 12th at Widman Motorcycle Sales in St.
Louis. For more information call (314) 771-2531.
The Buckeye Beemers again earned the Top Donor Club Per Member Award
for its 2003 per member donations. The club’s fundraising efforts center
around an annual poker run held at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.
This year’s run, part of the AMA National Championship Poker Run Series,
is scheduled to begin at 11a.m. on June 6 at the Museum. For more
information, see the club’s website at
www.buckeyebeemers.org. The Top Donor Club Per Member Award allows
