Custom & Cruiser Culture Saturday

August 19, 2006
The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum
Pickerington, Ohio

What's your preference? An accessorized cruiser or a full-blown chopped custom? Metric or American? Modern or vintage?

Whatever they like best, custom fans agree on one thing: Customs and cruisers are among the most visually stunning works of art on wheels.

Enjoy the culture, lifestyle and craftsmanship of the custom world at the inaugural Custom & Cruiser Culture Saturday at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum on August 19. Bring your bike and check out what others have created.

The event includes demonstrations from pinstripers, painters and others. Accomplished central Ohio tattoo artist Tom Boyce will work his body art magic. Ed Youngblood will present his new illustrated history of motorcycle customizing reviewing bobbers, choppers, diggers and body bikes.

There will be a Custom Bike Show with awards, and there's no entry fee for this inaugural event.

Show classes include:

  • Scratch Built Custom with any power plant
  • Chopped American, British, European or Japanese bike, made from a production machine
  • Best bolt-on/painted/plated light custom
