The fourth in a series of Legends exhibits at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame
Museum, "Malcolm!" celebrates the life and career of legendary off-road
rider and star of On Any Sunday,
Malcolm Smith.
Fellow On Any Sunday star and Motorcycle Hall of Famer
Mert Lawwill will
join Smith at the official ribbon cutting and reception.
Scheduled to precede the July 27-29
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH, the "Malcolm!" dedication ceremony
is the perfect beginning to an entire weekend of world-class motorcycle
heritage and history.
Immediately preceding the “Malcolm!” dedication, at 5 p.m.,
seven-time AMA Supercross champ
Jeremy McGrath, and his family, will
unveil a new sculpture for the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum’s
permanent collection. The sculpture, a bronze of McGrath in action, was
commissioned as a tribute to McGrath’s record-setting career by Live
Nation and crafted by artist Steve Posson.
Fans attending the day’s ceremonies should arrive to the Museum
early, as Smith and many Hall of Famers will begin signing
autographs at 4 p.m. For more information, contact the Museum at (614) 856-2222 or
